North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a)worksite -- employees were working from an elevated work platform of an Ingersoll-Rand rough terrain powered industrial truck, without the platform being secured to the boom. NOTE:Among other abatement methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to secure the work platform to the boom of the rough terrain powered industrial truck.rial
