Stat. 182.653 subd. 2: The employer did not furnish to each employee, conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards which caused or were likely to cause death or serious injury to employees: Sanitation employees were required to clean conveyors located 7-8 feet above the floor. Stepladders or another type of equipment was not supplied to reach that height and employees had to climb on other production equipment to clean the conveyors.
