tank truck, had a step across distance from the work platform to the truck
of 24-48 inches.
Employees exposed to a fall distance of 56 inches (4 feet, 8 inches).
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard
is the use of a hinged, guarded platform to protect workers during this
crossover.  Step
across distances should be reduced to 12 inches or less.
