Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: The employer failed to ensure that two employees were not transported in the bucket of a Caterpillar wheel loader under the following conditions: a.On the north side of building A, approximately 18" above an uneven compacted gravel surface, two employees were being transported in the bucket of a Caterpillar wheel loader. Reference: The Caterpillar Operation And Maintenance Manual, page 15, Machine Operation. One feasible means of abatement is to ensure that wheel loader operators know and follow the manufacturer's operating manual instructions.
