Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were working in a self propelled extendible boom aerial lift and were not utilizing an appropriate fall arrest system. 2205 North Richmond Road Jobsite - Employees working in Marklift aerial lift, approximately 20 feet above grade were exposed to fall hazards. Employees did not use a fall arrest system. Among feasible means of abatement would be to comply with the American National Standards Institute, ANSI A 92.5-1992 Standard for Boom-Supported Elevating Work Platforms. NO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM
