Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees had not received safety training in the hazards associated with the work environment. a)Clear View Window Cleaning & Professional Services, Inc. did not provide employees training in the recognition and minimization of fall hazards. b)Clear View Window Cleaning & Professional Services, Inc. did not provide employees training in ladder safety. Among feasible means of abatement would be to comply with the American National Standards Institute and the International Window Cleaning Association, ANSI/IWCA I14.1-2001 Standard for Window Cleaning Safety and; 1)Provide a training program for employees that covers fall protection and ladder safety. CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM
