Labor and Employment Article Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:04/12/02 Condition:the bradley gravity fed eyewash provided where employees used Industrial Plus, a corrosive material having a pH of > 13, was approximately 3/4 full and would not provide 15 minutes of continuous flushing. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to keep the eyewash unit full and maintain it in accordance with the manufacture's instructions.
