Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a. On or about June 4, 2002, at the above addressed jobsite, employees installing facia from a self propelled extensible boom aerial lift were exposed to falls due to the lack of use of personal fall arrest equipment. Among feasible meas of abatement would be to comply with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A92.5-1992, Standard for Boom Supported Elevated Platforms and have employees wear fall arrest equipment anytime that they are in the aerial lift.l
