pressing aluminum window frames, exposing operators to amputation hazard
if the power press
were inadvertently actuated while the operators' fingers were at the point
of operation.
ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD, AMONG OTHERS, TO
CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO: Provide a guard for the foot controls to
prevent unintended
operation which may be caused by falling or moving objects or by
accidental actuation of the
control by the operator.
