hazards that were
causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to a fall hazard of 12 feet:
(a)Employees were elevated in the bucket of the John Deere 644H, front end
loader
for the purpose of elevating overhead communications cable. Among others a
feasible means of abatement would be to follow the John Deere owner
operator
manual or the Equipment Manufacturers Institute safety manual for Front end
Loaders both of which prohibit riders other than the operator on the
machine or
prohibit he use of the bucket as a work platform.
