N.J.S.A. 34:6A-33(a): The employer did not provide the employees with a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards. LOC: Records, Automotive Lifts Documentation of maintenance and inspection programs was not available. COMMENT: The American National Standard Institute ANSI-B153.1-1981, 6.3, requires the owner or employer to establish a periodic inspection procedure as recommended by the manufacturer to ensure the safe operation of the lift.
