5(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to caught-in/amputation hazards while working with/around conveyor systems located throughout production area, without an emergency stop available. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to install emergency stop buttons, pull cords, limit switches, or similar emergency stop devices in accordance with the provisions stipulated in ANSI/ASME B20.1-1990, Paragraph 5.11.2(c)
