Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: The employer failed to ensure that an appropriate personnel platform was used to elevate an employee above the roof on a two-story building as follows: a.At building 28, an employee was elevated on a Skytrack 6036 above the roof on a pallet with roofing materials. The employee was exposed to a fall of more than 20 feet. Reference: ASME B56 - 1998, American Standards for Rough Terrain Forklift Trucks - paragraph 5.15.1. One feasible and acceptable abatement method, among others would be personal platform was used to elevate employee to the roof.
