Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the reception of Secretarys Office, two cabinets grasp to the walls
were falling. The
employee were performing clericals tasks such as: secretarials, keep file
and others.
One feasible and acceptable method of abatement would be, change the
cabinets by files
or adhere better the cabinets to the wall with the appropiate expansion.
Hazard: Fall of cabinet on the employee
En la recepcion de la Oficina de Secretaria, dos gabinetes sujetos a la
pared estaban
cayendose. Los empleados estaban realizando tareas clericales tales como:
secretarial,
mantener archivos y otros.
Un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir la condicion, seria cambiar
los gabinetes
por archivos o sujetar mejor los gabinetes a las paredes con las
expansiones apropiadas.
Riesgo: Caida de los gabinetes sobre los empleados
