Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At Jose Nevarez Landron School, the employees were teaching in their classrooms, such as: classrooms D7, B5 and surrounding classrooms, while being exposed to cement dust and excesive noise due to several structural improvements being done in the school facilities at regular school hours. Hazard: Contact with dust allergens. Among other methods to correct this hazard, is to move the affected personnel to other areas. En la Escuela Jose Nevarez Landron, los empleados estaban dando clases dentro de sus respectivos salones, tales como: salones D7, B5 y salones aledanos, estando expuestos a polvo de cemento y a ruido excesivo debido a unas mejoras estructurales que se estaban llevando a cabo en el plantel durante horario escolar. Riesgo: Contacto con alergenos de polvo. Entre otros metodos de correccion para este riesgo se encuentra el reubicar al personal mas expuesto a otras areas.
