Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban
expuestos
a:
At the restoration workshop of the "Instituto de Cultura Puertorriquena";
the employees
were restoring antiques furnitures. It had evidence of water spots in the
ceiling and in
the walls due to water ceiling filtrations.
Hazards: Slips and falls.
Among other correction method,one feasible and acceptable to correct this
hazard is
repairing the ceiling.
En el taller de restauracion del Instituto de Cultura Puertorriquena; los
empleados estaban
restaurando muebles antiguos. Existia evidencia de manchas de agua en el
techo y en las
paredes debido a las filtraciones en el techo.
Riesgo: Resbalones y caidas.
Entre otros metodos de correccion uno factible y aceptable para corregir
este riesgo es
reparar el techo.r
