Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the dispatching area of Autos Vega mechanical area, it was observed that the window of the dispatching area was broken. The employees were picking parts to be used on their respectives areas. The employees wait closed to the broken windows while they been attended. Hazard: Contact with sharp edges of the crystals. Among other correction methods, a feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to change the broken window. En el area de despacho de piezas de Autos Vega area de mercancia, se observo que la ventana del area de despacho estaba rota. Los empleados estaban recogiendo partes para ser utilizadas en sus respectivas areas. Los empleados esperaban cerca de la ventana rota mientras eran atendidos. Riesgo: Contacto con bordes filosos de los cristales. Entre otros medios de correccion, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es cambiar la ventana rota.na

Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the auto repair area of Autos Vega, there were observed some hydraulic jacks with different defects. The employees were realizing mechanical works. a.Blue hydraulic jack without trade mark in front of the dispatching window area, it does not have the screws who affix it to the floor. b.Second blue hydraulic jack without trade mark from the parts dispatching area, it have a broken lock. c.Ben Person jack serial 26417 with leaks on its hydraulic bottle. d.Blue jack without trademark in the posterior part of the service area with a defective lock. c.Two Hidralift jacks with leaks on its hydraulic bottle, among others. Hazard: Hits and falls due to the defects of the hydraulic jacks. Among other correction methods, a feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is repair the hydraulic bottles to evite leaks on the jacks and repair the locks of the jacks that do not apply. En el area del taller de Autos Vega, se observaron varios pinos hidraulicos los cuales tenian diferentes defectos. Los empleados realizaban trabajos de mecanica. a.Pino azul sin marca frente a la ventana de despacho de piezas, este no tenia las tuercas que lo sujetaban al piso b.Segundo pino azul sin marca desde el area de despacho de piezas, este tenia el seguro roto. c.Pino Ben Person serie 26417 con liqueo en la botella hidraulica. d.Pino color azul sin marca en la parte posterior tenia el seguro defectuoso. e.Dos pinos Hidralift con liqueos en sus botellas, entre otros. Riesgos: Golpes y caidas debido a los defectos de los pinos hidraulicos. Entre otros medios de correccion, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es reparar la botellas hidraulicas para evitar los liqueos en los pino y reparar los seguros a los pinos que no aplican automaticamente. 0 0 y 0 L
