Section 6(a): of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety Act: The employer did
not furnish
employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized
hazards that
are causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that
employees
were exposed to:

esten causando
o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto
empleados estaban
expuestos a:
While the employees were performing administrative works, in various
instances
where the employees were working on areas measuring aproximately 21", 23",
19", 18", 15" and 20", instead of 28" as estipulated in the 1910.37(f)(6)
standard
at the following areas:
1. Unit E.
2. Unit D.
3. Unit B.
4. Sliding Archives Area.
5. Director's Office.
6. Employee Verification Unit.
Hazard: Stumble.
Among others method, one feasible and aceptable is create more space.
Se observo que mientras los empleados realizaban trabajos administrativos,
varias
instancias en donde los empleados estaban trabajando en areas que median
aproximadamente 21", 23", 19", 18", 15"y 20", en lugar de 28" segun se
estipulaba en la norma 1910.37(f)(6) en las siguientes areas:
1. Unidad E.
2. Unidad D.
3. Unidad B.
4. Area de Archivos Corredisos.
5. Oficina de la Directora.
6. Unidad de Verificacion de empleo de personal.
Riesgo: Tropezones.
Entre otros metodos, uno accesible y aceptable es crear mas espacio.e
