Labor nad Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:08/27/02 Location:Banding Area Condition:Paper rolls, 72" high, 22 3/8" wide, and weighing 2300 pounds, stored on inclined floor with employees working in the immediate area were not blocked or supported to prevent them from falling. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to block or support the paper rolls to prevent them from falling over onto employees.
