31-372-101 Section 31-370(a) of the Connecticut Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of fire fighting without fully developing and implementing fire ground accountability procedures: Location: A)312 Davis Avenue. 1)The employer who has employees exposed to the hazard of interior structural fire fighting did not ensure that fire ground accountability procedures were fully developed and implemented to account for fire fighters during fire fighting activities. Feasible methods of abatement for this hazard are: 1)Develop and Implement fire ground accountability procedures. 2)Train employees on fire ground accountability procedures including but not limited to: a)Initial training and periodic refreshers to ensure that all staff have knowledge and function of the fire ground accountability procedures.
