31-372-101 Section 31-370(a) of the Connecticut Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to on coming traffic: Location: (A)Bridge Street Route 82 Road Crew (1)The employer did not provide a safe and healthful work place in that employees trimming brush along side of road were not protected from on coming traffic. Feasible Means of Abatement: (1)Employer should provide warning signs or barriers prior to curves in road to warn on coming motorist of work being performed ahead.
