Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of falling or being thrown from a Boom-Supported Elevating Work Platform as the employees were not wearing a personal fall arrest system: a)Site - 4014 Tampa Rd. Oldsmar, Fl. 34677 - JLG Lift # 265792 Employees were removing shingle material 41' feet above ground from the platform of a JLG Lift, # 265792, Boom-Supported Elevating Work Platform, and did not have a personal fall arrest system; exposing them to the hazard of falling or being thrown from the platform of the lift, on or about 08/13/02.
