Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: The employer failed to ensure that an appropriate personnel platform was used to elevate an employee as follows: a.At Block 19, Lot 6 of the Sienna project, an employee was elevated on a SkyTrack 6036 on a pallet with roofing materials. The employee was exposed to a fall of more than 12 feet. Reference: ASME B56 - 1998, American Standards for Rough Terrain Forklift Trucks - paragraph 5.15.1. One feasible and acceptable abatement method, among others would be to utilize a personnel platform to move the employee above the roof level.
