Section 88.4 - Code of Iowa (2003) 88.4: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (a)Facility Wide - The employer had employees filling propane bottles that had not been properly trained. Among other abatement methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct the hazard is to have the employees trained by a licensed company that they receive their propane from or the Iowa Propane Gas Association. This condition was noted on April 15, 2003.
