Section 88.4 - Code of Iowa (2003) 88.4: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a vertical lift: (a) 1st Floor Back Room to 2nd level - Vertical lift that was used for carrying water conditioning units from 1st floor to 2nd floor. This lift was not installed in accordance with ASME B20.1. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct the hazard is to install in accordance with ASME B20.1
