Carolina:  The employer did not furnish to each of his employees
conditions of employment and
a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or
likely to cause death or
serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to:
a)fire and or explosion in building #3, main production operation and
offices.
Employees were expose to fire or explosion hazards with accumulation of
combustible dust collecting on or in electrical switches, panel boxes,
motor
controls, outlets.  The employees were using forced air instead of
collecting the
dust by vacuum or similar method.   The sprinkler system at the time of the
inspection had not been in service in accordance with Wilkes County Fire
Marshall Inspection enclosed.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method given
Ecofibers, Inc. dba Precision Fibers to correct this hazard, is to
properly collect
the dust on and in electrical systems instead of using force air and
maintain
the
sprinkler suppression system in the event of a fire or emergency.n

is to train/certify and inspect employees on wearing seatbelts installed
by the manufacturer of
the Caterpillar Forklift.
