AS 18.60.075(a)(4): An employer shall do everything necessary to protect the life, health and safety of employees including, but not limited to furnishing to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which are free from recognized hazards which, in the opinion of the commissioner, are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees. EXAMPLE: Employer failed to provide fall protection for employees working on elevated pallet work platform with potential for fatal or serious injury from falls.
