Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a)At Filette Foods in Vega Baja, there was a yellow forklift trademark
Caterpilar model
M30 that has been operated without seat belt as recommended in the ANSI
B56.1
consensus standard for powered industrial trucks; ASME/ANSI B56. la-1989
Addenda
to ASME/ANSI B56.1-1988, and ASME B56.1-1993 Safety Standard for Low Lift
and
High Lift Trucks.  It was used to move pallets of meat boxes with an
approximately
weight 2,400 pounds and other materials around the establishment.  Among
other
methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this
hazard is:
1)Install a seat belt in the forklift.

Reglamentos
de seguridad para "Low and High Lift Trucks". El mismo fue usado para
mover paletas
con cajas de carnes con un peso aproximado de 2,400 lbs y otros materiales
alrededor
del establecimiento.  Un metodo viable entre otros metodos que se pueden
utilizar
para
corregir los riesgos existentes es:
1)Instalar un cinturon de seguridad en el montacargas.
