Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the Office "Registro de la Propiedad " in Utuado, were observed the following conditions: 1- Offices Area - The air conditioner system were damage, without filters and with dust accumulation ( 3 air conditioners, 220 Volts-Trademark White Westinghouse and 1 air conditioners splits type - Trademark York). 2- Public Library Area - Lack of the adequate ventilation due to the enclosure places. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazards is that the employer repair, wash, replace and arranged the air conditioner system. Hazard: Throat irritations, heat stress En la Oficina del "Registro de la Propiedad" en Utuado, se observaron las siguientes condiciones: 1- rea de Oficina - El sistema de aire acondicionado estaba danado, sin filtros y con acumulacion de polvo (3 acondicionadores de aire de 220 Voltios - Marca White Westinghouse y un (1) acondicionador de aire de consola- Marca York). 2- rea de la Libreria Publica- Falta de ventilacion adecuada debido al lugar encerrado. Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir estos riesgos es que el patrono arregle, limpie, reemplace y coloque los sistemas acondicionador de aire. Riesgo: Irritacion de garganta.
