Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the School "Escuela Luis Felipe Perez" in Arecibo, were found the
following hazards at
the Office and Social Worker Offices :
A- Were found the air conditioner systems damage when the work place did
not had
adequate ventilations.
Among other methods one feasible and acceptable method to correct their
hazard is that
the employer correct replacement the air conditioner system in both
offices.
Riesgos: Employees were exposed to heat stress and emotional stress.
En la escuela "Luis Felipe Perez" en Arecibo, se encontraron los
siguientes riesgos an las
areas de la Oficina y Oficina de Trabajo Social:
A- Se encontraron los sistemas acondicionadores de aires danados en ambas
oficinas.
Entre otro metodo factible y aceptable para corregir esos riesgos es que
el patrono corrija
reemplace el sistema acondicionador de aire en ambas oficinas.
Hazards: Empleados estaban expuestos a estresor de calor y estresor
emocional.
