Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to being pinned by the forklift if it turns over: (a) Plant Floor - Forklift operators were not using the seatbelts while driving their forklifts. This exposes employees to crushed by hazards. One feasible means of abatement is to implement a program which provides positive motivation for employees to use seatbelts. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREDATION
