Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to a struck-by hazard:
On or about October 28, 2003 at times prior and thereto, at the East Santa
Fe
Ranch A-2 well site, employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck
by
pressurized flow lines that had not been properly secured to the auger
anchors.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct
this hazard would be a properly spliced wire rope secured with the
appropriate
number of Crosby Clips installed according to the manufacturer's
