North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a)jobsite, four employees were exposed to fall hazards while standing and riding on the material platform attached to a Case 75XT Skid Steer. Note: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to provide an approved personnel platform which complies to the design requirements listed in ANSI/ASME B56.6-1992, Safety Standard for Rough Terrain Forklift Trucks, and to secure the platform to the lifting carriage or forks.ge
