Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: Employees working from the JLG Model 660SJ extensible boom aerial lift were exposed to injuries from falls due to the lack of fall protection as required by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI A92.5-1992) Standard for Boom Supported Elevated Work Platforms. Each Employer shall furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which are free from recognized hazards that are causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees in that: On or about November 11, 2002, the employer did not ensure that all bleeders were fully closed before introducing natural gas through line GF 33101-A, such that less than 100 lbs. of natural gas leaked through a partially open bleeder valve over the course of an hour.e
