Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to falls as in 29CFR1926.451(b)(2): (a) Location - 36 Vasser Street, Cambridge, MA: On or about 04/23/03, employees were exposed to fall hazards of up to 60 feet while accessing a scaffold on a single plank walkway.
