recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to

were exposed to the hazard of being struck by projectiles from a moulding
machine, while
attempting to extract a piece of lumber by feeding another piece behind
it.  Among others, one
feasible means of abatement for this hazard is to ensure that the piece of
lumber being used to
push the finished piece through the moulding machine, is equal in
dimension to the piece being
milled.
(a) Location - Mill, moulding machine:
On or about 09/14/2004, employees were exposed to the hazard of being
struck by a
projectile, while a dissimilar size "push stick" was used to force
extraction of a moulded
piece of lumber from a Weinig wood moulding machine.
