Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1): The employer failed to furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees: The employer failed to ensure that employees were protected from falling from heights while working in an aerial lift at the following location: a.In the main showroom of the building under construction an employee was working in an aerial lift approximately 15 feet high without using fall protection equipment. Reference: ANSI/SIA A92.4-1992. Boom-Supported Elevating Work Platforms Section 8.8(g): Ensure all personnel in the platform are wearing fall protection devices and other safety gear as required at all times. One feasible means of abatement is to train employees on the proper wear and anchorage of fall protection equipment in accordance with ANSI A92.5 and have the employees read the operators manual before operating the lift.ting
