Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: On or about August 13, 2003, employees performing the manual erection of a wall and gable were exposed to crushing hazards. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct the hazard is to: 1. Utilize Wall Jack(s) or Equivalent 2. Utilize Overhead Lifting Equipment 3. Otulize Other Engineering Feasibility.
