Section 5(A)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall hazard: On or about 05/09/03, an employee riding on a truck-mounted conveyor was exposed to a fall, approximately 14-feet. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct the hazard is to prohibit employees from riding on the conveyer belt in accordance with the operator's manual.
