Section 5(a)1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard: On or before 12/11/03, at the Alamo maintenance area, employees working and walking in the yard were exposed to the hazard of being struck by moving buses: One feasible and acceptable means of abatement is to require keys to be removed from parked buses. PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
