"AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO
CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS":
1) Instruct each employee during initial training and safety meetings, to
use the operator restraint
system (seat belts) in accordance with The National Safety Council lift
truck operators course
and the Valiant Steel, Inc. safety and policy and procedures manual.
2) Conduct periodic monitoring inspections of forklift drivers and correct
deficiencies
immediately.
