b)Aluminum Sanding/ Grinding Area, On or about 2/2/04:  Dry type dust
collectors were not located outside of the building.  NFPA 65, 1993
section 2-

c)Aluminum Sanding/ Grinding Area, On or about 2/2/04:  Dust collection
systems were not dedicated to the collection of aluminum or aluminum alloy
dust only.  NFPA 65, 1993 section 2-1.7.
d)Aluminum Sanding/ Grinding Area, On or about 2/2/04:  Aluminum dust was
not removed from the interior and exterior of the collection systems on a
daily basis, accumulation of dust was not removed.  NFPA 65, 1993 section
2-4.3, 2-4.4.
e)Aluminum Sanding/ Grinding Area, On or about 2/2/04:  Aluminum dust/
waste material was not discharged into metal containers that are covered.

f)Aluminum Sanding/ Grinding Area, On or aobut 2/2/04:  Vacuum cleaners
not specifically designed for combustible dusts were used to clean up
aluminum dust.  NFPA 65, 1993, section 3-1.4.

1) Follow all of the requirements of NFPA 65, Processing and Finishing of
Aluminum, 1993 Edition.
