median safely.  Two employees were observed crossing I-25 on foot, from
the median
to the east side, across three lanes of high volume, high speed traffic.
Condition
exposed employees to the hazard of being struck by moving vehicles.
Abatement Note:  Abatement certification and documentation are required
for this item (See
enclosed "Sample Abatement-Certification Letter").
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method included
using
the
pickup, which was on-site, to bring and return employees to/from the
median.  Parking
sufficient for several vehicles was provided at the median, with
protection provided by
cement bunkers.
