Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause serious physical harm or death to employees: (a)Date of Violation:05/29/03 Location:North End of First Floor Condition:Employees were working from an 8' wooden ladder located above protruding conduit of various lengths ranging from 3" to 6" high. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to cover the exposed conduit. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
