North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety
and Health Act of North Carolina:  The employer did not furnish
each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of
employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely
to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that
employees were exposed to:
1)Migrant farm workers were exposed to electricity in the
temporary labor camp site as workers were exposed to live
electrical parts at light fixtures in front living room
and front sleeping room, and electrical outlets in front
living room and back sleeping room.
Among other methods one feasible and acceptable method of
abatement is to install new light fixtures and properly
and firmly attach them to the ceiling and to install new
electrical cover plates on all uncovered electrical
outlets.
