North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to: struck by hazards [Reference ANSI Z133.1 4.1.3 The qualified arborist in charge before start of each job shall conduct a job briefing. The briefing shall be communicated to all affected workers. An employee working alone doecs not need conduct a job briefing. However, the employer shall ensure that the tasks are being preformed as if a briefing were required.] a)job site- the employer is not conducting a pre job briefing to ensure that all safety tasks have been completed prior to employee exposure to hazards Abatement note: One feasible method of abatement is to use the checklist on page #4 of the Arborist Safety checklist booklet.t
