employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm:
An annual inspection of the Wheeltronic automotive lift, Model 43102Q, was
not performed.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to abate this
hazard is to establish
a periodic inspection procedure, maintain and periodically inspect the
lift, as recommended by
the manufacturer to ensure the safe operation of the lift, in accordance
with Section 7.3 and E7
