Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a.  At the construction site, south wall, interior yard, El Cometa
building.  There was
a bunch of interlaced rebars, hanging from vertical south wall at 16 ft,
aprox. height
(product of demolition work) which present an accidental rebars fall down
hazard, that
may hit workers that transit roght below.
Among others method, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this
hazard would be: Restrict the access through this area by installing
warning fence.

habia un
paquete de varillas entrelazadas, colgadas de una pared a 16 pies de
altura aprox.
producto de una demolicion la cual rpresenta un riesgo de caida accidental
de varillas que
podria golpear a trabajadores que transitan abajo.
Entre otros metodo, uno factible y aceptable metodo de correccion para
corregir este
riesgo podria ser: Restringir el acceso atraves de esta area instalando
verja de aviso.
