Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. Receive serious injuries or death due to impact with unstable load. At the construction site, north side. Employees were hoisting unstable beam, 27 feet long, 1.4 feet high, 4 inches wide to 35 feet high above lower level, approximately. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to use tag line to bring the hook over the load in such manner as to prevent swinging or slip. a. Recibir serias lesiones o muerte por impacto con carga inestable. En el sitio en construccion, lado norte. Empleados estaban izando vigueta inestable, 27 pies largo, 1.4 pies alto, 4 pulgs. ancho a 35 pies alto sobre el nivel mas bajo aproximadamente. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y posible de corregir este riesgo es hacer uso de cable de cola, para llevar el gancho hacia la carga de tal manera que pueda prevenir el desbalance o deslizamiento.
