likely to cause death or serious physical

Condition:Employees were exposed to the hazard of being crushed/struck by
collapsing roof trusses due
to inadequate bracing techniques.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is to install bracing in
accordance with the Truss Plate Institutess recommendations in HIB-91
summarysheet, commentary and
recommendations for handling, installing and bracing metal plate connected
wood trusses.
The proposed penalty for this item has been reduced by 50for effective
and efficient abatement during the
inspection.
